Fast compressor terminal repairs

Restore damaged compressor terminal connections without replacing the compressor.

QwikLug® is designed for HVAC/R service work where compressor spade terminals are damaged, pitted, burnt or corroded. The repair lug pushes onto the affected terminal and tightens from the front, helping technicians create a clean, reliable connection in confined terminal-box spaces.

  • Designed to attach to damaged or corroded compressor spade terminals.
  • Fits standard compressor terminals when installed as directed.
  • Tightens from the front using a Phillips screwdriver.
  • Durable brass interior with nylon insulated exterior to help prevent shorting.
  • Available in no-wire, 2 ft lead and 4 ft lead configurations.
  • 10 AWG and 12 AWG wire options support different field-repair requirements.

Choose the right kit

Same repair concept, different lead style and gauge.

The range gives technicians a practical way to stock the right terminal repair option for the job. QT2800 is the lug-only option, QT2810 and QT2812 use 2 ft leads with nut connection, and QT2910 and QT2912 use 4 ft leads with spade connectors.

Lug Only

QT2800

Three QwikLug® terminal repair lugs with male spades and no wires.

Best when the technician is building the lead setup on site.
2 ft Leads

QT2810 / QT2812

2 ft colour-coded leads with nut connection. Available in 10 AWG and 12 AWG versions.

Best for shorter lead repairs where nut connection is preferred.
4 ft Leads

QT2910 / QT2912

4 ft colour-coded leads with spade connectors. Available in 10 AWG and 12 AWG versions.

Best for longer runs or direct connection to contactor-style wiring.

Front-tightening design

Built for tight compressor terminal boxes.

Compressor terminal boxes can be cramped and awkward. QwikLug® is designed to tighten from the front with a Phillips screwdriver, reducing the need to work around the sides of the connector.

Insulated repair connection

Brass connection protected by a nylon exterior.

The brass connector provides the electrical repair connection, while the nylon exterior helps insulate the lug so the connectors can touch without shorting when installed correctly.

Exterior Nylon insulated

Installation notes

Make the repair only where terminal condition and electrical safety allow it.

QwikLug® is a repair aid, not a substitute for proper electrical diagnosis. Disconnect power, inspect the compressor terminal condition, clean damaged or corroded terminals, and follow the manufacturer instructions before installation.

Power isolation Disconnect power and verify isolation before opening terminal covers or handling wiring.
Terminal prep Clean damaged or corroded terminals before sliding the QwikLug® connector onto the terminal.
Depth set Slide QwikLug® over metal, not over the terminal insulator.
Connection check Confirm the repaired connection is tight, secure and suitable before returning the system to service.
