The Mainstream Engineering QT2000 QwikCheck® Acid Test Kit is a fast, simple and reliable tool for detecting inorganic acid in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Designed for HVAC/R technicians, this 2-second acid test helps identify acid contamination early, supporting preventative maintenance and post-burnout system checks before further damage occurs.

QwikCheck® detects inorganic acid down to 1 part per million (PPM) and provides a clear visual result using a colour-change indicator. The test paper starts golden yellow and turns pink or red when acid is detected, making it easy for technicians to confirm system condition and clearly communicate results to customers.

Ideal for use during routine servicing, compressor change-outs, or after a burnout clean-up, the QT2000 can be used on operating systems by allowing refrigerant vapour to pass through the test kit. Its disposable, patented design makes testing quick, clean and convenient without the need for complicated sampling procedures.
