Electronic Manometer
The EM151 is a compact single-input electronic manometer for fast gas supply and draft pressure checks in residential and light commercial HVAC work.
Technical snapshot
Key EM151 pressure specs.
The core numbers for single-point low-pressure testing: range, resolution, accuracy, selectable scales and operating limits.Single-point pressure checks
Measure gas and draft pressure without the U-tube shuffle.
The EM151 gives technicians a straightforward digital readout for low-pressure gas and draft testing. It is built for quick single-point checks where a compact meter, simple buttons and a magnetic boot make the job cleaner than setting up a traditional water column gauge.
- Measure positive and negative pressure up to ±20 inches water gauge.
- Use the single pressure input for gas supply, manifold and draft pressure checks.
- Switch between inWG, mBar and PSI from the meter.
- Zero the meter before testing for a clean starting point.
- Mount the meter hands-free on suitable metal surfaces with the integral magnet.
- Auto power-off after 20 minutes helps preserve battery life between jobs.
What it helps check
Use the EM151 when the task is a clear single-pressure reading rather than a pressure drop comparison. It suits everyday gas and draft pressure work around heaters, furnaces, appliances and light commercial equipment.
- Gas supply and manifold pressure checks.
- Draft pressure testing during appliance service and commissioning.
- Low-pressure system performance checks where a simple digital reading is enough.

Fast pressure readings, kept deliberately simple.
Where it earns its keep
Use it when one pressure point is the answer.
- Commissioning gas equipment where the supply or manifold pressure needs to match the appliance specification.
- Checking draft pressure on residential and light commercial heating equipment.
- Replacing U-tube measurements with a compact digital reading for routine pressure tests.
- Keeping a simple meter in the kit when a dual-input differential manometer is more than the job needs.
Setup rhythm
Zero, connect, read, then move on.
Zero the meter in a non-pressurised area before testing, connect the flexible tube between the meter and the pressure source, then select the pressure scale that suits the job. The integral magnet helps keep the screen visible while the test is running.
Gas & pressure safety
Check the tubing and stay inside the pressure limit.
- Check the meter and tubing for breaks or blockages before use.
- If gas is suspected or smelt, close the gas supply and ventilate the occupied space.
- Do not use it for water pressure and do not exceed the 10 PSI input pressure limit.
