The Uniweld Premium Tube Cutter range is built for controlled, accurate tube cutting where a clean end matters before flaring, brazing, joining or fitting. Compact cutters suit tight service areas, while the larger models add features for smoother feed, tracking, deburring and faster size changes.
- Designed for copper, brass, aluminium and other soft metal tubing.
- Multiple capacities from compact 1 in. O.D. cutting up to 2-3/4 in. O.D.
- Helps prepare square tube ends with reduced crushing and tube deformation.
- Suitable for service vehicles, installation kits and workshop use.
- Use on HVAC/R, refrigeration, plumbing and general trade tubing.
Where it fits
Pick the cutter by the outside diameter of the tube and the amount of room around the work area. The compact models suit cabinets and tight access points; larger cutters suit broader tube sizes and workshop-style prep.
- Refrigerant line preparation before flaring or brazing.
- Replacing damaged flare ends and cutting close to existing tube work.
- Clean trimming of copper, brass and aluminium tubing on service jobs.
Choose by access and tube size
From compact service cuts to larger-capacity tube prep.
UTC701 / UTC702
Use these where a full-size cutter is awkward around units, cabinets or tight line sets. Both include a large, non-slip thumbscrew for controlled cutting pressure.
UTC703 / UTC704
Step up for smoother cutting action, 4-roller tracking and flare cut-off work. UTC703 adds a fold-away reamer, while UTC704 adds a built-in deburring tool.
UTC705
Use the larger cutter where bigger tube capacity and faster adjustment matter. The spring-loaded body helps with quick-action contact and release when changing tube sizes.
Match the cutter to the outside diameter, not the nominal tube size.
Rotate and tighten progressively to avoid flattening or distorting the tube.
Remove internal burrs before flaring, brazing, joining or commissioning the line.
Cut quality checks
Small prep details make a cleaner connection.
A square, burr-free tube end helps the next step go smoothly, whether the job is flare preparation, brazing, a compression fitting or general line repair. Keep the cutter wheel clean, avoid forcing the feed screw and replace the wheel when cuts start to track poorly.
