Remove the restriction before recovery or evacuation.

Valve cores are made to restrict flow and reduce refrigerant loss, but that same restriction can slow recovery and evacuation work. The MGAVCT lets technicians remove the valve core while keeping the system connection controlled through the tool body.

  • Vacuum-rated to 20 microns for deep evacuation work.
  • 1/4 in. female flare system connection to 1/4 in. male flare hose connection.
  • 1/4 in. side port for service gauges.
  • Double O-ring ball valve seal for accurate blank-off vacuum testing.

Why remove valve cores?

Valve cores can restrict up to 90% of the access port.

Removing the valve core helps maximise flow through the system access port. That can help reduce recovery and evacuation time, especially where normal core depressors and small openings become the bottleneck.
