Ratchet Wrench Range
Compact HVAC/R ratchet wrenches for compressor access valves, service fittings, acetylene B/MC tank valves and tight equipment spaces.
Technical snapshot
Service wrench options for common HVAC/R access points.
Three listed models cover compressor access valves, acetylene B/MC tank valves and confined equipment spaces where an offset wrench improves knuckle clearance.HVAC/R service access
Tighten and loosen service fittings without fighting for tool clearance.
The Uniweld ratchet wrench range is built for routine service work around valves, fittings, compressor access points and equipment spaces where a standard spanner can be slow or awkward.
- Professional HVAC/R ratchet wrench range for service valves and fittings.
- Reversible ratchet action helps speed up tightening and loosening.
- Offset models improve access where hands and tools have limited clearance.
- Multiple square and hex openings cover common service sizes.
- Compact format fits neatly in service bags, kits and tool pouches.
Common service points
Keep the matching wrench in the service kit for faster access to the valves and fittings technicians meet every week.
- Compressor access valves and HVAC/R service fittings.
- Acetylene B and MC tank valves.
- Residential and commercial equipment with confined valve access.
Wrench selector
Pick by access, opening size and valve type.
The range gives technicians a straight reversible option for common compressor access work, plus offset models for tight cabinets and awkward valve positions.
For compressor access valves and acetylene B/MC tank valves. Square openings: 1/4 in. and 3/16 in. at one end; 3/8 in. and 5/16 in. at the other end.
Offset ratchet wrench for confined work areas. Covers 3/16 in., 1/4 in., 5/16 in. and 3/8 in. service sizes with the included DHVA adaptor.
Offset ratchet wrench with larger hex opening coverage. Covers 3/16 in., 1/4 in., 1/2 in. and 9/16 in. service sizes with the included DHW316 adaptor.
Access guide
Use the offset body when clearance is the problem.
Offset ratchet wrenches help keep hands clear of surrounding panels, pipework and equipment edges. The straight reversible wrench is a fast choice when the access point is open and the fitting size is already covered.
Service workflow
Check the fitting before applying torque.
Select the square or hex opening that fully seats on the valve or fitting.
Set the reversing mechanism before tightening or loosening the fitting.
Keep the wrench square to the fitting to avoid rounding or slipping.
Use controlled pressure and avoid over-tightening service valves or caps.
Tool care
Keep the ratchet clean and ready for service work.
Wipe the wrench after use, keep the ratchet mechanism free of debris and check the reversing action before starting the next job.
Use notes
- Use the correct opening size for the valve or fitting.
- Do not force a wrench that is not fully seated.
- Keep fingers clear of pinch points and surrounding equipment edges.
- Follow site procedures when working around pressurised systems, fuel gases or refrigerant equipment.
