The Calorflex Constant Power Silicone Heater Cable with Stainless Braid is a compact heating cable designed for commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and temperature maintenance applications where reliable constant heat output is required. Its small 4.5mm diameter makes it suitable for installations where space is limited, while the stainless steel braid provides added mechanical protection and supports earthing of the cable.

The SPCx constant power cable is a double conductor heating cable that delivers the same power per metre along the heating section. The heating section is identified by connection points marked at 500mm intervals, making it easier to cut and prepare the cable to suit the installation. Calorflex lists SPCx as suitable for commercial refrigeration applications such as refrigerated counters, blast chillers, ice cream counters, refrigerated display cases and other equipment where heating cables help prevent condensation ice formation.

The range is available in three wattage options: 10W, 15W and 20W. Calorflex’s SPCx platform supports supply voltages from 110V to 400V, specific power options from 10W/m to 60W/m ±10%, a minimum bending radius of 15mm, and operating temperatures from -60°C to +200°C, with short-period capability up to +230°C. It is EC certified and produced/tested according to EN60335.
